Happy Mother's Day

In light of Mother's Day and the Allen Mall Shooting I want to bring something to your attention.

We are all going to die someday. Is your family prepared financially to lose you? I am asking this because the percentage of Americans with life insurance is about 52%, including individual and workplace life insurance, according to LIMRA.

Group Insurance doesn't go with you when you change jobs. You don't actually own this type of policy. I have had a Group Insurance Policy. I can't tell you who it was through or even how much the death benefit was. What would happen if I passed away? I doubt my family would have been able to file a claim with that Insurance Company without any paperwork because they wouldn't even know I had a life insurance policy.
